Those american highscools you see in movie are true?

Those things you see in the american movies about highschool and highschool life are true? because in our country, in our highschools, those bullshit never happen (hope you know what i meen).Those american highscools you see in movie are true?No, those TV/movie high schools are stereotypes of each other. High school across America are very different. For instance, in Mean Girls, the school is somewhat nerdy and weird, except for The Plastics. In my high school, most of the girls tend to look like "The Plastics", but I live in a very wealthy area.



In The Secret Life of the American teenager, all the teens are very open about sex and they talk about it all the time, with each other and their parents. Sex isn't a taboo at my HS, but defintely not everyone is having it, and those of us who are are probably not telling our parents. And there are not pregnant girls at my school either.



Every high school has it's own problems, it's own It Group, and it's own scandals. The writer of each movie/TV show takes their own high school experience and combines it with what the media stereotypes as a "normal" high school. So I'm sure some of the things are true for some of the high schools, but definitely not everything.
