Car Headrests in American Movies?

Why do they take out the front headrests in cars in amercian movies, is it to be able to see the back passengers or is there another reason?Car Headrests in American Movies?blue screen effect.

It is harder to do a blue screen effect with the head rest there. That means having to wapr the graphics around bothe the actores and the head rests that often have holes in them and gaps under them. Most car scenes are not actually on the road so for the scenes that are computer generated the head rests must go and if they go for some scenes they need to go for all scenes.Car Headrests in American Movies?yes!!! i was looking for that answer too! Makes sense

Car Headrests in American Movies?Probably for the cameras to be able to get different anglesCar Headrests in American Movies?
I've never noticed this, but if they do, it's got to be for more visability within the car (to see the backseat passengers from a front seat camera angle, or vice versa).
