Are there any movies that are similar to American Westerns that take place in Australia instead of America?

Quigley Down Under (1990)

starring Tom Selleck, Alan Rickman, Laura San Giacomo, Chris Haywood, Tony Bonner

IMDb synopsis:

Sharpshooter Matt Quigley is hired from America by an Australian rancher so he can shoot aborigines at a distance. Quigley takes exception to this and leaves. The rancher tries to kill him for refusing, and Quigley escapes into the brush with a woman he rescued from some of the rancher's men, and are helped by aborigines. Quigley returns the help, before going on to destroy all his enemies.

This has sort of a Westernish feel to it and does have a sequel:

The Man from Snowy River (1982)

starring Tom Burlinson, Kirk Douglas, Terence Donovan, Sigrid Thornton, Jack Thompson, Tony Bonner

IMDb synopsis:

Jim Craig has lived his first 18 years in the mountains of Australia on his father's farm. The death of his father forces him to go to the low lands to earn enough money to get the farm back on its feet. Kirk Douglas plays two roles as twin brothers who haven't spoken for years, one of whom was Jim's father's best friend and the other of whom is the father of the girl he wants to marry. A 20 year old feud re-erupts, catching Jim and Jessica in the middle of it as Jim is accused of letting a prize stallion loose.

The sequel is "Return to Snowy River" aka "The Man from Snowy River II" (1988), with Burlinson and Thornton returning.

Others are:

Ned Kelly (1970)~earlier version of the outlaw's tale, this time starring Mick Jagger

The Proposition (2000)

Several bushranger movies including a number on Ned Kelly, Mad Dog Morgan, The Proposition, Robbery Under Arms (TV and an earlier movie) and Captain Thunderbolt. Bushrangers were similar to american outlaws.

Quigley Down Under was an attempt to simply move an american cowboy to australia.

Australia is about a cattle drive, as were several others such as The Sundowners, and The Overlanders.

There have been a few that deal with aboriginal australians such as Walkabout and The Chant of Jimmy Blacksmith. Are there any movies that are similar to American Westerns that take place in Australia instead of America?Ned Kelly (2003)

With Heath Ledger, Orlando Bloom, Geoffrey Rush
