American Schools & movies?

um well see i go to an International School in Bangkok with the occasional American. although we do watch movies and all that. i was wondering, are the american schools there realy like how the movies portray? (Mean Girls, Bring it on...)

it would be nice if yall could tell me where the shizz happens, what its like, and all that.

cheers guysAmerican Schools %26amp; movies?Yes there are cheer guys! And yes there are clicks. Like the movies maybe not so dramatizing. There are emo, nerds, nasty girls, jocks, blacks, and your preppy girls. I had lunch with my daughter and she showed me the seating arrangement at lunch and where each category sat. I thought it was pretty sad even though she was in the preppy group. She herself is a social butterfly and tries to keep peace with all the groups. If anyone says their isn't they are lying!American Schools %26amp; movies? Those movies are a caricature of real American school life... meaning they exaggerate things that are true. Yes, there are cliques in American schools, that often exclude kids that are different or "weird." But rarely do those kids get a chance to show how cool, nice or interesting they are. They mostly get ignored. For the most part, I bet school here is a lot like school in Bangkok, full of drama, high expectations and insecurities.American Schools %26amp; movies? They are an exaggerated version of what schools are really like. There are the cliques and depending on where you are it can be pretty violent. There are also more social, financial, strata than you might see in the movies.

Basically, don't believe everything you see on the screen.American Schools %26amp; movies?
its great
