What are your favorite (non-American) children's TV shows and movies?

For instance, when I was little, we watched Postman Pat quite a lot, which was a great English show. And I remember watching the short film The Sweater, which was Canadian. I'm trying to find more of those sorts of things.What are your favorite (non-American) children's TV shows and movies?I liked Pippi Lansgtrump from Sweden, this girl who wanted to be pirate.

depends how hold you are. here's a few. Joshua Jones, the riddlers, rosie and jim, stop it and tidy up, berther, finger mouse, The psamiad, the demon headmaster, simon and the witch, grotbags, Whizbit, thomas the tank, Button moon, Toy box, fireman sam, look and read, gruesome tales for grizzly kids, knightmare, trapdoor, tots tv which i hated, herbs, flumps, bagpuss, tales of the river bank. around the bend (i think is was called) around the twist (australian) the clangers, spot, spit the dog, playdays, barney (dog not dinosaur) Simon's watch, the treacle people, animals of fathing wood, wizardry, familyness, Henry's cat, rhubarb and custard, penny crayon,spooks of bottle bay, Jimbo, Budge the helicopter, andy pandy, me and you, .

Hmmm Thomas the Tank Engine was good, i remember watchin that as a kid, and i watched a lot of cartoons.

Hmm British? its hard really, America is just too damn good at television LOL..
