Do you think Asian horror films are scarier then American?

I'm not a horror film expert, but I've always found Asian horrors to be way scarier. At least compared to the new American movies.

Do you think there's any truth to that?Do you think Asian horror films are scarier then American? While the American horror movies to come out within the past 2 or 3 years have been FAR better than the movies that have come out in the past 10 or 15 years, Asian horror is still great. They have a great effect on what is truly scary. Audition is a perfect example of this. I don't like the fact that Asian horror is 90% ghost stories, but most are great. American horror relies far too much on gore and nudity. There's not much imagination for the most part. Some exceptions are The Strangers, The Devil's Rejects, The Descent (even though it is British).Do you think Asian horror films are scarier then American?
No, asian horror films are all about suspense. Those would be considered suspense films.Do you think Asian horror films are scarier then American?NopeDo you think Asian horror films are scarier then American?
True, for some reason Asian film makers have a better understanding of what scares the **** out of people, and sometimes it can be something simple as making a movie about a true story.

American film makers tend to make **** up which takes away the realism of the film.Do you think Asian horror films are scarier then American?Asian horror flicks are less about shocking you with gore or pop out moments. It's more about delving into your subconcious and disturbing you, promising for sleepless nights. As for what is better, you decide.Do you think Asian horror films are scarier then American?
