Home Improvement, Everybody Loves Raymond, King of Queens, The Simpsons.....all have the "stupid husband" stereotype



King of Queens, Desperate Housewives and a few other shows have the "pushy American wife" stereotype



Movies like The Transformers I%26amp;II and a few others stereotype American women being overly assertive when I rarely meet women who aren't scary and need to be "escorted" everywhere. I would love to meet more women like the heroines in these movies, but if you look at the news and just the women at the grocery store or in the malls, etc. and all you see is "poor helpless me" type women.
