What do you guys [Britions] think of American movies ?

Do you like them, hate them, if so why ?

I watched about 15 movies today (lol; i was bored) and was just wondering if people from other countries like American movies. x)

Which movies do you love the most and loathe the most ?What do you guys [Britions] think of American movies ?i do like american movies or (films) as we say in Britain.

I like lots of different films such as......ghost, dirty dancing, sister act 1 and 2, the sixth sense, crash, premonition, the list is kinda endless , sorry for the old ones btw.

i like actors and actresses such as .... denzel washington, tom hanks, sandra bullock, ..........anyone really old or young.

i like comedy and horror best haha....absolutley nothing cheesy.....i no u americans love ur cheese in movies. urhhhh nahhh not 4 me

anddd i dunno whether uve noticed but British people are nearly always the bad guys in american movies...or at least connected to them in a bad way .........but thats coz we have no chip on our shoulder like some countries ... it really doesn't bother us ... we no ur our friends really. What do you guys [Britions] think of American movies ?
The choice is vast. American movies that I've loved include.............

no, it would be easier to cite anything starring Meryl Streep, Dustin Hoffman, Clint Eastwood, Paul Newman, Robert de Niro, Robert Redford and Al Pacino.

Some of the newer stuff is disappointing. I watched 2012 the otherday, and it was one of the most overrated pieces of rubbish I have ever seen. But it's all very subjective. Tom Hanks for example is an actor I admire enormously, but one or two of his movies have been below par in my opinion. What do you guys [Britions] think of American movies ?I love American movies mostly.

There are a few British films I like, but on the whole I prefer American movies.
the closer to British understatement, the better. Americans are often bigmouthed, even in their larger-than life production. The strenght of dramatic tension lies in in its deployment: american movies start well, but get disperse very soon. Excepting a relevant number of masterpieces, of course. But again, i prefer good, well refined skills to big-large etc. What do you guys [Britions] think of American movies ?American movies are greatWhat do you guys [Britions] think of American movies ?
yah, its pretty hard to avoid american movies, and a lot of them are good.

although i would say i get fed up of excessive explosions and unoriginal plotlines.

im definitely a fan of british films too...
I like them. I will watch anything really as long as it's not too scary :))What do you guys [Britions] think of American movies ?
It's pretty difficult to avoid them, but I try my best.

I just think they're pretty pointless. Most of the films I've seen this year have been American and they're all too long-I've seen three British films and none of them were too long. Star Trek, Avatar, 2011 and New Moon are all at least 30 minutes too long
