Anyway, do you watch our movies? Some English dude told me that the English movie industry is doing so bad that it's either Hollywood or Bollywood in the UK. Yeah we only watch hollywood here I think most the western world does to because we all know Americans are good 'actors'. British movies are all the same and crap always some posh fools either doing a crap romantic or a crap comedy and I can only name like 5 British actors

Probably 90% of the films we get are American. 5% UK 5% European. Bollywood was a passing fad for a few years but has no real fanbase outside minority communities. The British Movie Industry is in a pretty bad sate of affairs..despite the amount of talent we have.

And yes, we watch your movies as well as our own. Hollywood tends to "Spoil" things with all the glitz n glam, and over the top filming etc... Britain, and the rest of Europe dont spend the same amount of money as you guys do on films.

Yes we do. The UK film industry is small by comparison with both Hollywood and Bollywood. We tend to focus on quality rather than cliched characters and predictable plotlines. That said, if you like what Hollywood produces then pretty much any Hugh Grant vehicle will be right up your street.

Yes we do watch your movies (we say films). Our Film Industry is minute compared to yours, but having said that we have made some really brilliant films in the past few years, e.g. Bridget Jones, Four Weddings and a Funeral, etc.

P.S. Just as an aside here in Britain we do not say "matey", "dingo", etc and I really would not describe our english language as "crap" as it is the most universally spoken language around the world!
Actually we have a thriving film industry and the same could be said for us not understanding the perverted version of English spoken in many American films, their less than subtle humour and their plots aimed at the intellect of an 8 year old. The only reason the USA has such a huge film industry is the sheer volume of people in your domestic market. You have 5 times the population, thus recouping on the initial outlay is significantly easier over there than it is in the UK with only 57 million English speakers.
