I don't necessarily believe that there are that few ideas, but let's face it--remakes, sequels, etc. come out because the original did so well. If you see a movie that seems eerily similar to something that did well at the box office, it's just hoping to make as much money as its predecessor.Do you think that American movies follow the same history over and over?
