Why does Robert pattinson put an American accent on, in his movies?

i just wanted to know..

i love him and everything! he is amazing i mean does he like the american accent better, or does he HAVE to put it on? or does he just put it on to "fit in" with the other actors/actresses in the film(s)Why does Robert pattinson put an American accent on, in his movies?Most of his films call for an AMERICAN teen.

He does it because it's his job.Why does Robert pattinson put an American accent on, in his movies?I don't know for sure, but it's probably to fit the character he is playing. If the character is American, then he uses an American accent to fit the character.
