What are your favorite (non-American) children's TV shows and movies?

For instance, when I was little, we watched Postman Pat quite a lot, which was a great English show. And I remember watching the short film The Sweater, which was Canadian. Joshua Jones, the riddlers, rosie and jim, stop it and tidy up, berther, finger mouse, The psamiad, the demon headmaster, simon and the witch, grotbags, Whizbit, thomas the tank, Button moon, Toy box, fireman sam, look and read, gruesome tales for grizzly kids, knightmare, trapdoor, tots tv which i hated, herbs, flumps, bagpuss, tales of the river bank. around the bend (i think is was called) around the twist (australian) the clangers, spot, spit the dog, playdays, barney (dog not dinosaur) Simon's watch, the treacle people, animals of fathing wood, wizardry, familyness, Henry's cat, rhubarb and custard, penny crayon,spooks of bottle bay, Jimbo, Budge the helicopter, andy pandy, me and you, .
